About the sanatorium
Chinar Hotel & Spa Naftalan is one of Naftalan's best-known resorts: it was rebuilt on the site of an old sanatorium in 2007–2010 and opened in February 2011. Its 170 rooms are set in an 18.8-hectare park of plane and pine trees.
The treatment centre has 24 Naftalan baths, urology, gynecology, cardiology, dermatology, general medicine and dietetics offices, as well as laboratories. Packages begin with a doctor's consultation, tests, an ultrasound scan and an ECG; the daily programme includes Naftalan and iodine-bromine baths and three physiotherapy procedures.
