About the sanatorium
Kapaz Sanatorium (Kəpəz in Azerbaijani, also spelled Kepez or Kyapaz) is one of Naftalan's compact treatment centres: 63 rooms, a five-storey medical building and a three-storey accommodation block. Built in 2015, it lies about 0.8 km from the town centre in a green area at the foot of the Lesser Caucasus.
Kapaz is considered one of the most affordable options in town. The treatment package includes an examination on arrival (doctor's consultation, ECG, ultrasound scan, tests), Naftalan baths, three types of physiotherapy and three meals a day. The diet menu is tailored individually on the doctor's recommendation.
